About Buddy
This is Buddy, he is looking for a forever home! He is a Staffie cross Bull Mastiff.
He is one year old, his birthday is 26th March 2016.
Buddy is a big boy but every so soft and also a very handsome boy! He loves attention and cuddles kisses! He loves to play with his toys, especially toys that make a squeak! He is very good with commands. He may try and get away with it but being a little firm in the voice and he will do as he’s told!
He’s getting better and better on the lead! He will pull a little if he spots a cat but otherwise he’s good boy! He can’t be left very long on his own as he gets scared and will cry. His foster home have been working very hard to help reduce his separation anxiety. New owners must be prepared to keep the hard work up!
Buddy is a little nervous around other dogs, his best friend is a 13yr greyhound bitch called Molly and they get on extremely well! However, Buddy generally does like to spend a lot of time getting to know other dogs before feeling comfortable with them.
He is great with children and can be rehomed with children over the age of 6 in the home as per our policy.
We would like to see Buddy rehomed as the only pet in the home, as his previous life experiences have meant that he has not been socialized that much with other animals. But don’t let this put you off this great boy!
This lovely boy would prefer to be left for very short periods only, please bear this in mind before applying.
