Hugo
All About Hugo: Hugo is a male Dachshund of 6yrs.
At the start of this year, Hugo had IVDD and underwent surgery. Hugo is now fully recovered however he does not have the full use of his back legs and cannot walk without the assistance of his sling however he still lives a very happy life. Hugo is however spinal walking really well and just needs to build up his strength in his back legs to hold his weight, he can move his legs and walk on them with some support on his sling, and his physio believes, with the right help, he can get walking again!
Hugo has adapted very well to his new way of life, he gets around the house and garden with no problems and enjoys little walks on his sling and he is such a happy boy.
Hugo is a gorgeous loving dog who just wants to be close to his humans and get lots of cuddles.
Hugo is absolutely fine with other people, children and other dogs, he just gets over excited and wants attention, so can bark a lot initially but soon calms down.
Hugo currently lives with cats and is fine with them.
Hugo, despite his disability, is very low maintenance and can be left without separation anxiety.
Hugo is a very chilled out dog who loves sunbathing or having cuddles and is very playful and loves attention. Hugo is full of character and personality.
Hugo is in the BLACKBURN, Lancashire area.
