Reacher
All About Reacher: Reacher is a male Cockapoo of 18months.
Reacher is a lovely dog but can be nervous of new people, particularly men.
Reacher is dog friendly and loves all other dogs, and would benefit from sharing his new home with another dog that will match his energy levels. Indeed, having a confident and playful dog as company would be the icing on the cake for Reacher.
Reacher enjoys his walks and socialising with other dogs, but he can pull so will need ongoing training. Reacher does have excellent recall when off the lead, and has learned not to bark at people and bikes, buggies etc., but is still nervous if approached by strangers, particularly men. Obviously Reacher's recall will need to be worked on by his new family.
Reacher is looking for a new home without young children as he can be very nervous of them (plus he still mouths a little).
Reacher will need help with his on going house training.
It is unknown whether Reacher can be left as he is not currently left so he is looking for a new where he is not left for long periods.
Reacher does not travel well and tends to bark and cry, so this will need work with this also.
Reacher adores the company of other dogs, is very affectionate with his trusted people, and enjoys lying in his owner’s lap and watching TV in the evenings. Overall, with a little time, patience and gentle, positive training, Reacher is going to be a wonderful life companion.
