MOLLY
All About Molly: Molly is a female Cockapoo of nearly 5yrs.
Molly will need an experienced home as she can push boundaries: she can guard certain objects: (bed; sofa; treats; food etc), so a family that has previous experience of guarding issues would be ideal.
Molly is an energetic dog, so will need a family that are active and can provide a good level of mental stimulation.
Due to a bite history, Molly is looking for a home without young children.
Molly can react to sudden noise or movements.
Molly gets on with some dogs and reacts to others but could potentially live with another dog with the correct intros.
Molly was rehomed by OtWH in Feb 2020, and since this time she has done exceptionally well and her guarding issues have been almost nonexistent and very rare generally and there have been no bite incidences. However, a new relationship has seen an increase in Molly's guarding behaviour and there have since been multiple nips and one bite incident (which can be classed as as low level, full details of the incidences and photos can be provided). Boundaries previously in place were allowed to slip and perhaps not the correct amount of time and effort taken for Molly to get accustomed to the new lady and the changes in her dad's life with a knock on effect to routine and her own lifestyle and she has found this unsettling and upsetting and has become a little jealous.
Molly needs consistency and boundaries and she will again prove herself to be a loving and happy dog. Molly is very obedient and does love people but simply does not like to be over-fussed and to be faced with forced interactions, she will let you know when she has had enough attention.
