Fudge
All about Fudge: Fudge is a male Cockapoo of 3.5yrs.
Fudge has epilepsy which is controlled by Epiphen 30mg twice daily and he also suffers with Dermatitis in his ears and has Cytopoint every 5 to 6 weeks and this keeps his Dermatitis under control.
Due to an attack, Fudge has become reactive to most dogs and will growl and lunge to attack them, and he has also developed a dislike to small children after one ran up to him and hurt him which has made him worse. Before this, Fudge had been great and loved everyone and all dogs.
Fudge is fed on pet fresh beef and his treats are tribal turkey and this combination has been found to work best for his moods as Fudge has been diagnosed him with fear aggression by a behaviourist. Fudge has become unpredictably snappy, so he is looking for a new home where his family are experienced and capable of helping with his confidence to help him overcome his fears and also to establish the pack hierarchy so that he can be happy and relaxed with leadership.
Due to a bite history, Fudge is looking for a home where there are no young children or visiting grandchildren.
Upon a recent assessment, Fudge did well and his reactivity to other dogs on the walk was minimal so, we believe, with the right level of experience of his new family, he should do well and improve. Fudge's vet and groomer have had no issues in handling him.
Fudge is a loving and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than a cuddle on your lap and will put his paws on your arm for a cuddle. Fudge is funny, cheeky and mischievous and loves playing fetch with his balls and zoomies around the back garden.
Fudge is very much a Velcro dog and loves being with his humans, and enjoys doing tricks like sit, lie down, walks through your legs, spin and wait: being food orientated he will do anything for a treat.
Fudge loves a walk, especially having a good sniff and loves a paddle but not in the sea, the muddier the better. Fudge is a lovely boy with a big heart and lots of love to give to the right family.
