Red

All About Red: Red is a female Dogue e Bordeaux of 6yrs.

Red was previously rescued by her family from a house where she had been abandoned and left tied up outside, she had been neglected and was found with multiple sores all over her face and body.

Red can show fear aggression towards some dogs although not all the time, and she was is terrified of men.  Red's current family have had her interact with men since having her but it is of course a slow process as she will quite quickly fall back into flight and bark mode if they move suddenly!

Red was also scared of the outdoors but she now enjoys going for a walk but can become very scared of every noise and car etc if out for to long, so ideally she is looking for a new home that is rural.

Red can be left alone and is not destructive.

Red currently lives with children and is amazing with them, although she does not always know how big she is and can squash them at times but she will insist on hugs and snuggles.

Red is looking a lot happier and healthier from when she was first rescued but she will need a new family that can help continue with her socialisation and confidence building.

Despite her past, Red is the greatest loving dog and adores her trusted humans and is now more settled and confident but still nervous initially of strange people but will now say hi and gives a small tail wag.

Red is in the WELLAND, Leicestershire area.
