Rocco
All About Rocco: Rocco is a male Dogue de Bordeaux cross of 3yrs.
Rocco is a loving, loyal, gentle, affectionate dog but has not had the best start due to being an homeless dog and having a history living on the streets, which has affected his confidence and trust with unknown dogs so he can be nervous and wary around them. Rocco would benefit from an adult only home, however he is able to live with other dogs pending a calm introduction. Rocco currently lives with another dog (Gypsy) and they are fine together.
Rocco loves his walks and sticks and footballs.
Rocco has some training under his belt (sit, paw etc) and he is food and toy motivated which will be good for his ongoing training.
Despite his past, Rocco is a loving clever affectionate loyal dog who would benefit from an experienced owner of large breed dogs who is able to give him the reassurance and security he requires so he can go on to thrive.
Rocco loves a snuggle with a duvet, he is definitely a comfort monkey. Rocco is crate trained and is comfortable sleeping in one at bedtime.
Rocco is eager to please and just needs an assertive and patient family who are able to focus on him to help with his confidence, he would benefit from a quiet household.
Rocco is muzzle trained and is comfortable wearing one on his walks.
Rocco is currently fed on a raw diet due to him not keeping weight on with canned /kibble foods and does have some scarring from his past of being a street dog and skin issues due to him having sensitive skin.
Rocco is looking for a new home due to his mum having a serious accident and his needs can no longer be met.
Rocco is in the Liverpool area.
