Dolcie
All About Dolcie: Dolcie is a female Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog of 6yrs
Dolcie is friendly and good with all other dogs (she has not been around cats or small furries before). It is felt that she would do well in her new home if there is another dog having lived with Lil Durk previously.
Dolcie can be anxious around strangers and may be a little scared to start with but she is super friendly and loving once she knows and trusts new people.
Dolcie is good with children and has lived with children previously with no issues.
Dolcie’s favourite thing in the world is her ball, treats and belly rubs. Dolcie is very affectionate, eager to please and listens to commands amazingly well.
Dolcie is from a previous home that had a history of domestic violence and so she can be anxious around brooms, shouting on the TV and items being dropped. Dolcie was also hit whereas Lil Durk was not, so he had become protective of her.
Dolcie and Lil Durk live happily together but we are looking for a new home for them both either separately or together.

Dolcie & Lil Durk are now living in separate foster homes and both are doing well.
From Dolicie's foster carer:
"Dolice has been doing really well over the last couple of days. She’s started coming out of the utility room, although she’s still happy to use it as her safe space, which we’re absolutely fine with.
She’s becoming more comfortable with my husband and is letting him stroke her, as well as my youngest daughter. She’s also happy to go out into the garden by herself most of the time, and we’re starting to see more of her personality coming through. Today, she even ran up and started playing with the water from the hose, which was lovely to see!
