Shadow Pig
All About Shadow Pig: Shadow Pig is a male Pocket Bully of 5yrs.
Shadow is described as an absolute gem by his family, he is a submissive boy who is great with other socialised dogs and just loves children and likes to spend time playing with them.
According to a previous owner, Shadow spent his first 2 years living with a cat and he is not reactive to cats (or squirrels etc) on his walks, so it is quite possible, with careful introductions that he could go on to live with a cat in his new home.
Shadow responds really well to training and is a bright boy and loves to learn new things. Shadow knows sit, down and stay and will go to his bed on request. Shadow also loves to play hide and seek, perfect for the frosty, rainy or hot days when walks are off the cards.
Due to having spent most of his life up until recent months, left outside and uncared for, Shadow is very grateful for any attention and is very eager to please. So eager, in fact, that he just wants to stick to you at all times, hence his name.
Shadow does not bark or whine but instead tries to communicate through pig like grunting. In addition, having been neglected where food and water are concerned, he currently eats and drinks as though he is starving, hence the surname Pig.
Shadow Pig has an excellent temperament and will happily leave toys and food when asked to do so, he walks to heel on request then sniffs about when permitted, he has good recall when off lead and is also bicycle trained.
Shadow is very sensitive to household chemicals and detergents and needs good quality grain free kibble or raw food diet, otherwise, he scratches a lot.
Regardless of how soft he is, Shadow is big and strong so requires someone able to handle him and he would thrive in a family/pack situation.
