Jasper
All About Jasper: Jasper is a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross of approx 4/5yrs.
Jasper has come from a neglected and abused past and is looking for a new home as he is not getting along with the three other dogs in his current home.
Jasper is a real cuddle monster who loves nothing more than curling up with a soft blanket and generally spending time with his family. Jasper absolutely adores children and is very affectionate, all making him a wonderful companion. Once he settles in, he is loving and enjoys attention and fuss.
Jasper can be a little nervous around men when he first meets strangers but once he realises they are not a threat, he soon warms up and is happy to enjoy a stroke and affection. Jasper is a sweet-natured dog who would make a lovely companion for the right person or family.
Jasper was fine around the other resident dogs and had no issues socialising with them. Unfortunately, Jasper was attacked by another dog while out on a walk, and since that incident he has become very nervous around unfamiliar dogs. This appears to be fear-based following the attack rather than aggression.
Jasper has no history of being around cats and likes to bark at one that has the audacity to sit on his garden fence!
Jasper is in the BOLTON, Greater Manchester area.
