Summer
All About Summer: Summer is a female Bullmastiff of nearly 5yrs.
Summer is a beautiful, loving and loyal girl who is looking for a new home where she can get the time, attention, training and exercise she deserves. Although a big girl, Summer has a very gentle nature and has grown up around children and currently lives with two children and a French Bulldog, and she is wonderful with all of them, she and the Frenchie play beautifully together and, despite her size, she is incredibly gentle.
Summer has also grown up around cats and absolutely loves farm animals and so she is comfortable around horses, cows, goats and many others, making her a lovely companion for someone with maybe a rural lifestyle.
Summer loves being outdoors and especially enjoys the snow but she is not a fan of water, so rainy walks can be a bit of a battle!
Summer can be protective of her family and she can be uncomfortable with strangers coming to her home and can be reactive on the lead. However, Summer shows a very different side of herself at the dog play park, which she attends twice a week for an hour and happily plays alongside up to 20 other dogs with absolutely no problems.
Summer would benefit from an experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue with her training, build her confidence and give her regular exercise.
Summer is a loving, loyal girl with so much to give and deserves a family who will understand her, work with her and give her the time and attention she needs.
