Aphelion
All About Aphelion: Aphelion is a female Akita Husky cross of 5yrs.
Aphelion is looking for a new home as she is not getting along with another female resident dog, so potentially she will need to be the only dog in her new home. Although Aphelion does not get along with the other resident dog in the home they can still go on walks together. Aphelion has also been out on walks with other dogs and seemed to enjoy these. Aphelion is curious around water and likes to have a little paddle. Aphelion walks well on lead and will sit before you cross the road.
Aphelion can be shy around strangers, she will initially bark but does warm to people after getting to know them and especially so if there are treats on offer.
Aphelion has never lived with children and can be nervous around them so is looking for a new home where any children are of older teenage years.
Aphelion does live with two cats and she is fine with them, she just does not like it when they try to steal her food, she will push them away but isn't aggressive towards them.
Aphelion has so much potential, she is intelligent and learns so quickly.
Aphelion is very affectionate and loves cuddles and butt scratches and enjoys playing with her rope toys and tug games.
Aphelion knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, give paw and she will also give you a fist bump by placing her paw onto your fist when offered to her.
Aphelion travels well in a car for any length of journey.
Aphelion is in the MIRFIELD, West Yorkshire area.
