Roxie
All About Roxie: Roxie is a female Labrador cross of 2yrs.
At home Roxie is a very loving, playful dog that loves to be around her family, her favourite thing to do is to play ball in the garden and she loves playing with bubbles.
Roxie lives with two teenagers and is amazing with them.
Roxie is a very anxious dog and will bark and jump up at the front door when visitors arrive and can be quite fearful of strangers at first but once she is comfortable that fear and anxiety can change to an over-excitement where she will not calm down until she has been able to greet and make friends, ideally with a good lick to the face.
Outside of the home, Roxie can get very excited and nervous towards strange people and other dogs. As a result Roxie has never been off the lead and allowed to socialise with other dogs, so she will need a new family that are confident and able to help her socialisation. Roxie does now have a nip history to a stranger on one of her walks.
Roxie is fine to be left at home on her own, although she would much prefer to be with her humans all the time.
Roxie is very bright and loves nothing more than playing and having something to do and knows: sit, paws up and down.
Roxie is very loyal and protective of her family and is an amazing guard dog and she has the most beautiful nature, however she needs a family that can continue with her training, to help and support her with the socialisation and anxieties she struggles with outside the home.
Roxie would suit a home with no other animals or small children as she can be very boisterous when over excited and will jump up, however with the right experienced home she could live with other dogs, as she does have doggy mates and doggy stay-overs.
Roxie is in the WHITEHALL, Hampshire area.
