All About Gus & Gilbert: Gus & Gilbert are male Jack Russell Terriers of 4.5yrs.
Gus (short haired) & Gilbert are looking for a new home together as they are bonded and adore each other.
Gus & Gilbert are very affectionate and both love their fuss and cuddles and are absolutely adorable.
Gus & Gilbert are good with other dogs, females particularly, however they not very fond of big dogs especially if told off or growled at by them.
GUS: Gus was first born and the boss. Gilbert’s kind of like his annoying little brother. Gus loves human touch, so takes every opportunity to be a lap dog. When he feels like playing, Gus will wind Gilbert up but will in a playful way, making sulking noises or just blatantly go and sit on him while his resting, eventually Gilbert gives in and jumps up with a bark, it’s all very playful between them.
GILBERT: Gilbert, at breakfast, thinks he is in a race so he scoffs his food down and then likes to hover around Gus’s bow to lick it clean when Gus has finished. They never really fight it’s all playful stuff. As much as they can annoy each other they love each other dearly, if you pick one up the other one goes bonkers, like you’re taking his brother away. Gilbert is very cuddly but not a lap dog such as Gus but he will come for his evening fuss when he wants a cuddle and lets his humans know by making little growling noises until he gets the desired tickle to his belly, after 5 mins he’ll go back to his spot for a nap.
Gilbert’s always been a bit more jumpy than Gus with loud noises, hoover etc he hates it and will playfully attack the hoover. Gus can be been funny about heights.
